A long-time barre studio has reopened its doors in the Greater Houston area.
On May 16, Pure Barre celebrated the grand reopening of its location in The Heights with a discounted membership promotion, studio officials confirmed.
The Heights location is just one of over 600 studios that the barre franchise currently operates across North America, according to its website.
The full story
Serving more than 550,000 clients in-studio and at home through its on-demand service with Xponential Fitness, or Xponential+, Pure Barre specializes in full-body workouts that target strength, improve flexibility and build muscle.
How the studio achieves these goals is through offering musically-driven programming that consists primarily of smaller bodily movements with low impact.
The setup
For clients looking to book one of its in-person classes, all six of its group workouts follow a 50-minute-or-less structure and are led by certified instructors, according to website details. They are inspired by yoga, Pilates and ballet, and are open to clients of all levels and preferences.
This includes the Pure Barre Engage; Pure Barre Classic; Pure Barre Align; Pure Barre Empower; Pure Barre Define; and Pure Barre Reform sessions, which respectively fuse different concepts and techniques to train specific areas of the body, per the website.
