Twelve restaurants have opened in Lewisville, Flower Mound and Highland Village so far in 2019. Whatever you are hungry for, one of these places is sure to satisfy your appetite.


One Stop Nutrition has opened two stores this year, one in Highland Village and the other in Flower Mound. The business offers healthy food products and nutritional supplements as well as a smoothie bar. The Highland Village location is at 3196 Justin Road, Ste. 203. Kegs and Mugs opened in February at 615 FM 2281, Ste. 100, Lewisville. The gastropub offers craft beers and wines as well as food items including wings, skewers, customized pizza, grilled salmon and lamb chops. 972-300-0052.

I Love Juice Bar opened May 10 at 2701 Cross Timbers Road, Ste. 238, Flower Mound. Juice Bar is a vegetarian, gluten-free and “organic when possible” juice and smoothie shop. Spring rolls, quinoa bowls and sandwiches are also offered. 214-513-9879.

The Brass Tap opened May 27 at 4151 Waller Creek, Ste. 130, Highland Village. The bar features more than 100 beers on tap as well as wine and liquor. Food options include five-cheese macaroni and cheese, burgers, salads, flatbreads, prime rib nachos, chicken wings and lettuce wraps. 972-317-3227.

Teaholic Teahouse & Restaurant opened in May at 2940 Justin Road, Ste. 100, Highland Village. The restaurant serves a variety of boba teas, coffees and smoothies. It also specializes in Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese dishes such as garlic noodles, shrimp fried rice, steak pho and egg rolls. 469-763-3171.


Chante Mexican Grill & Cantina opened Feb. 11 at 951 W. Round Grove Road, Lewisville. Menu items include chimichangas, burritos, chipotle shrimp, chile-lime salmon, sangrias, margaritas and desserts. 469-293-8098.


Salerno’s Italian Restaurant relocated in February to 2250 FM 407, Ste. 130, Highland Village, from 3407 Long Prairie Road, Flower Mound. The restaurant is part of the Salerno Pizza Co. owned by Morris and Michael Salerno. The restaurant serves pastas, breads and pizza. 972-539-9534.

Brothers Sam and Michael Billelo opened Fiori Italian Restaurant on May 27 in the former Salt Rock space at 1221 Flower Mound Road, Flower Mound. Menu items include fettuccine Alfredo, lasagna, pizza, chicken piccata, lamb chops, filet mignon and seafood dishes. 469-630-0096.


Pho Corner opened in March at 401 E. Round Grove Road, Lewisville. The restaurant serves spring rolls, sandwiches, a variety of pho, boba drinks and rice plates. 972-315-1011.

Maia’s Asian Cuisine opened in May at 1890 S. Old Orchard Lane, Ste. 103, Lewisville. The restaurant offers edamame, chicken dumplings, coconut soup, Cambodian rice soup, Thai chicken salad, stir-fry and curry. 469-630-0606.


Burgerim opened in April at 2401 Lakeside Parkway, Flower Mound, near Carvao Brazilian Steakhouse and next door to Bottle and Bottega in The Shops at Lakeside. Burgerim is a fast-casual dining experience that offers packs of one, two or three gourmet burgers each weighing 1, 2 or 3 ounces. There are 10 different choices of proteins including wagyu beef, Spanish beef, dry-aged beef, lamb, chicken, salmon, veggie and more.
