East Dove Road repaving project in Southlake finishes ahead of schedule

The start of the school year provided a smoother drive on East Dove Road in Southlake.

The details

The work started July 21 and wrapped up Aug. 12, ahead of the expected deadline of Aug. 22, according to a city of Southlake social media post.

East Dove Road was paved between North White Chapel Boulevard and N. Carroll Avenue. The stretch from North Carroll Avenue to Estes Park Road was fully rebuilt, according to the city's website.

What else?

The paving was done between the two roundabouts on East Dove Road. The Carroll Independent School District Administration Building, Liberty Park at Sheltonwood, North Park and the Southlake Department of Public Safety North Training Center are all located on the road.
