Southlake is looking to create aesthetic intersection changes along the Hwy. 114 corridor.
Southlake City Council approved an agreement with Kimley-Horn Associates for professional engineering and consulting services for sections of Hwy. 114 at its Feb. 7 meeting. The agreement is to develop a conceptual master plan for four intersections along Hwy. 114: Dove Road, White Chapel Boulevard, Carroll Avenue and Kimball Avenue.
The conceptual layouts will include landscape, such as trees and shrubbery, hardscape for sidewalks, or barriers and illumination for safety and accent lighting, according to city documents.
Two layouts will be designed for high- and low-range improvements.
