Greg Jordan left his post as the city of Grapevine’s chief financial officer for the same position with Trinity Metro, taking over on July 19.
According to a news release, Jordan was selected after a nationwide search to help build the transit system for Fort Worth and Tarrant County. Officials with the Fort Worth-based company said Jordan's job duties will include innovations in operations, fare collection and long-term funding strategies for the agency.

Jordan has been with the city of Grapevine since 2015, overseeing risk management and financial operations. During his time with the city, Trinity Metro constructed TEXRail’s Grapevine/Main Street Station, according to a news release. Prior to his job in Grapevine, he worked for the city of Fort Worth, focusing on budget and finance.
