Improvement projects
The Westlake Town Council on April 23 approved a $43 million capital improvement plan for fiscal years 2012 to 2017.
The plan includes 40 proposed projects from parks and trails to water and sewer mains to facilities.
The plan included projects with funding sources yet to be determined. Funded projects included:
A trail connecting Westlake Academy to the Vaquero Trail underpass on Dove Road ($640,000).
