1. SH 121 expansion
In September, workers will continue with the concrete pavement work on the main lanes of SH 121 and concrete panel work under the bridges. Also, drainage work and dirt work in various areas along the southbound frontage road is being done. The next major traffic pattern change will be placing traffic on the new southbound frontage road at the Denton Creek tie in. When complete the project will widen SH 121 from four lanes to 10 lanes between Grapevine Mills Boulevard in Grapevine and the Sam Rayburn Tollway/Business 121 split in Lewisville.

2. Brumlow Avenue expansion
The city of Southlake, along with Tarrant County, is making progress on widening Brumlow Avenue from just north of SH 26 to north of Westwood Antiques. Despite delays associated with weather and encountering unforeseen conditions, work is expected to be complete in September. The remaining paving for the southbound lane, striping and traffic shift was expected to happen the first week of September. When complete the project will widen approximately 1,400 linear feet of Brumlow by expanding that segment of the existing road into four divided lanes.
