Del Frisco's Grille at Town Square to be 'home base' for company
The Del Frisco's Grille at Southlake Town Square will have clean lines, expanses of glass and patios to draw people both inside and out.
"This is cool," said Mayor John Terrell after developer Frank Bliss of Cooper and Stebbins presented the site plan for the building at the northeast corner of Southlake Boulevard and North Carroll Avenue.
The plan for the 8,075-square foot restaurant was approved April 2 by the Southlake City Council, after concerns about sun on the west-facing first-floor patio were discussed and plans for drainage across the street at Winding Creek subdivision were explained.
In response to questions from the council, developer Frank Bliss said options being considered for the patio include misters, umbrellas and planting an oak tree at one corner.
