Photo by Renee HansenAs temperatures are on the rise, a bubbly beverage is on the menu. I Love Noodle offers boba tea daily in a variety of flavors. The drink originated in Taiwan, and co-owner An Nguyen said I Love Noodle is the only place in Southlake serving the beverage.
The featured strawberry-banana smoothie ($3.99) is made of blended ice, non-dairy creamer, sugar, strawberries, bananas and boba, which are tapioca balls.
Co-owner Hang Le said the fresh fruit adds a particular flavor to the beverage.
"The people don't want sweet, so the fresh fruit is a little bit sour," Le said.
