The Grapevine Parks and Recreation Department has canceled the annual GrapeYard carnival due to weather concerns. The GrapeYard was to run Oct. 26-27. The event page said the Oak Grove Soccer Complex where the carnival was to be held is underwater in parts or oversaturated. With Grapevine Lake's water levels and the forecast for more rainy weather, conditions for this site could not accommodate vendors and attractions. Tickets purchased for the event will be refunded within the next two to three weeks, the website said.
