At the Grapevine City Council’s special meeting tonight, council discussed staff proposed bond projects and selected which ones will be on the Nov. 7 ballot. Council voted to remove all transportation projects from consideration, including the Heritage Avenue bridge project. The $25 million bond package will include 4 projects. Projects that will be on the ballot include: • Animal shelter—$3.85 million • Relocating/replacing Firehouse No. 2—$7.98 million • Relocating/replacing Firehouse No. 3—$7.92 million • Grapevine Golf Course Clubhouse & Concourse reconstruction—$4.75 million The package will be broken into three propositions with the firehouses grouped into one proposition.
