GCSW 2014 Restaurant Guide

In 2000 owners Fabien and Yasmine Goury opened their French bistro located on Main Street in downtown Grapevine. It began as a coffee shop but has since transformed into a restaurant that provides a full dining experience.

Main Street Bistro & Bakery offers specialty coffees and baked goods such as a cronut or a cranberry orange scone. Other menu items include a smoked turkey panini ($9), quiche lorraine ($10), and a goat cheese and arugula salad ($9). The bistro and bakery also offers gourmet cakes and provides a catering service.

Ruggeri's Italian Ristorante

Julie Gonzalez and her father, Morris Gambino, help run the Italian restaurant in The Village at Colleyville, which serves a variety of dishes that Gonzalez said represents Italian seafood. The atmosphere is intended to be romantic, and on Fridays and Saturdays, women are given roses. There is also live music weekly. There is no children's menu, but Gonzalez said children are not discouraged from dining at Ruggeri's. Dishes include homemade crabcakes ($24.95) and cioppino, an Italian fisherman's stew with scallops, clams, shrimp, oysters, calamari, mussels and fish in a marinara sauce ($19.95).

I Love Noodle

The restaurant is located in Southlake and offers a selection of Vietnamese foods, Chinese dishes and bubble tea. The store is family-owned and run by An Nguyen and Hang Le, who said the restaurant is the only place in Southlake offering boba tea.

I Love Noodle also offers the handmade pho, a Vietnamese staple. Other menu items include sandwiches, specialty soups, cornish hen and stir-fry.

Red Dog Right

Red Dog Right, a Southlake American restaurant that aims to serve as a sports hangout for all ages, also features a menu that includes fare for visiting dogs. Among the offerings are a low-sodium chicken broth billed as Dog Brew, scrambled eggs, kibble, mini burger patties, a "naked" hot dog and desserts catering to canines, who are allowed in the restaurant's outdoor areas. The facility also features dozens of televisions and a variety of food items that are reminiscent of game day at a stadium or ball field, including a variety of brews on tap.
