With no clear winner in Tuesday's vote, there will be a run-off in the Republican primary for State Senator in District 10 between Konni Burton and Mark Shelton.
No Republican candidate was able to secure over 50 percent of the vote, so there will be a second round of voting between the top two candidates on May 27.
Libby Willis bested Mike Martinez on the Democratic side, garnering an unofficial 56.5 percent of the vote.
The Republican race was crowded, with five vying for a spot on the ballot in November. When the dust settled, Burton topped Shelton by a count of 43.2 to 35.1 percent. But it was not enough to avoid a run-off at the end of May.
