1. Scooter’s Coffee will be constructing a new location at 897 W. Hwy. 114, Grapevine. At an April 19 meeting, the Grapevine City Council and the Grapevine Planning and Zoning Commission approved a request to construct the 664-square-foot drive-thru coffee shop, which will include outdoor seating, according to city documents. Scooter’s serves a variety of hot, cold and frozen coffee drinks, teas, smoothies and bakery food items, according to the company’s website. 2. Chicken N Pickle held a groundbreaking ceremony April 27 at its new location at 4600 Merlot Ave., Grapevine. Chicken N Pickle is an indoor and outdoor dining and entertainment complex where patrons can order food and beverages and play pickleball and yard games. 3. Epiphany Dermatology is set to open in Southlake at 220 S. Nolen Drive, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. Epiphany is a dermatology clinic that has over 70 clinics across the country and offers a number of services, including acne treatment, skin cancer screenings, Botox injections and more. 4. The Learning Experience is set to open a Southlake location at 100 River Oaks Drive, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The Learning Experience is an academy for early childhood education for children from the ages of 6 weeks to 5 years old. The child care facility teaches children early educational materials and social skills through exploration and play, according to The Learning Experience’s website.
