The town of Trophy Club is spending nearly $2 million to address flooding issues along streets near Trophy Club Country Club.
During a special meeting Dec. 19, Town Council approved a contract with Fort Worth-based Wildstone Construction for $1.91 million for the Inverness Drainage Project. The project is expected to alleviate the flooding on multiple private properties during heavy rain events, according to city documents.
What’s happening?
Director of Community Development Matt Cox said the next step would be to have citizen meetings with homeowners who live on Hillcrest Court, Inverness Drive and Indian Creek Drive to discuss the project. Cox said the goal is to have Wildstone Construction mobilized and start work by the end of January.
