Trophy Club council approves contract to address flooding issues near golf course

In June, council approved the engineering and administration services contract of the Inverness Drainage Project to Teague Nall and Perkins, the town's engineering firm, for $411,500.

The city received seven bids and the three lowest bids were evaluated, scored and tabulated, according to the presentation. Wildstone, in addition to having the lowest bid, also had the lowest estimated completion date among the three finalists, according to city documents.

• Wildstone Construction, $1.91 million, 180 days
• Dagger Contracting, $2.36 million, 220 days
• North Texas Contracting Inc., $2.5 million, 240 days

According to city documents, the funding for the project was an estimated $2.35 million. American Rescue Plan Act funding will cover $1.89 million, while the stormwater utility fund will pay $26,604 of the $1.91 million that was awarded to the Fort Worth company.

The town has no later than Dec. 31, 2026, to spend the ARPA funding, according to city documents.
