Two contracts were approved for the Southlake Department of Public Safety’s Emergency Operations Center during the May 21 City Council meeting.

A change order was approved for Allen-based Gliden Industries to install a new pathway for cables for a HAM radio room, which also includes adding new antennae systems, according to city documents.
The city had $7,197 left in the contingency fund from the original contract that was not to exceed $753,000, which was approved during the Dec. 5 meeting. The revised contract total is now for an amount not to exceed $782,000. The change order contract for Gliden is for $28,830, according to city documents.
