Following the identification of a rabid fox in late August, the city of Grapevine will be hosting a vaccine clinic for cats and dogs in October.
Grapevine police announced the positive test of a rabid fox in the community, according to a news release. The fox was sighted near Westgate Plaza and Churchill Loop on Aug. 29.

Per the news release, there were no reported exposures between the fox and other animals or humans. In the event an animal or individual is exposed to the rabies virus, a veterinarian or doctor should be contacted and Grapevine Animal Services notified.
