The city of Colleyville will receive about $1.4 million in federal relief funds.
Tarrant County is distributing funds provided by the federal government to cities throughout the region.
Allocated as $55 per resident, the funds distributed to Colleyville total $1,395,350. That’s based on Colleyville’s population of 25,370 residents, according to the city.
Mayor Richard Newton said that Tarrant County wasn’t required to distribute the funds to cities the size of Colleyville.
