The city of Grapevine is partnering with American Airlines flight crew members to host the annual 9/11 remembrance ceremony Sept. 11 at 7:30 a.m.
Grapevine residents and others are invited to join virtually as the city reflects on the 20th anniversary of the terror attacks. The livestream will be available on the city of Grapevine’s Facebook page and will be followed by a World War II D-Day aircraft flyover, weather permitting.
A total of four aircraft will fly over the city between 9 a.m. and 9:15 a.m. This includes “That’s All Brother,” the aircraft that led the main airborne invasion in Normandy, France, on D-Day—June 6, 1944.
