The 35th Annual GrapeFest has begun in downtown Grapevine.
The four-day event opened Thursday, Sept. 16 and runs through Sunday, Sept. 19. Presented by Bank of the West, this year’s theme is “Texas Wine. Come and Taste It!”
One of the city’s signature events, GrapeFest will highlight wines from across the state, as well as from California’s Napa Valley and South Australia’s Barossa Valley. The four-day event will include live music and entertainment, a carnival midway and local vendors.
Other highlights include the People’s Choice Wine Tasting Classic, one of the largest consumer-judged wine competitions in the nation, and GrapeStomp, where guests can stomp 18 pounds of grapes for two minutes to see how much grape juice they can produce.
