Grapevine Mayor William D. Tate has been re-elected for another three-year term over challenger Nick Kaufman, as announced by the city of Grapevine.
Tate has received over 80% of the votes in the May 1 election as Tarrant County continues to post results. He was first elected to City Council in 1972 and served as mayor from 1973-1985. He was re-elected again as mayor beginning in 1988.
Kaufman is the owner of Wine Fusion Winery, a local business located in historic downtown Grapevine.
