Six weeks after the start of school, campus principals sat down with the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD board of trustees and laid out their priorities for the coming year.
The overview
District officials reviewed improvement plans for all 21 GCISD schools during a Sept. 23 meeting. Campus improvement plans are required by the Texas Education Code. They outline a plan for improving student performance each year, according to the meeting agenda.
Each campus’s improvement plan is completed by its principal and a Campus Excellence Committee composed of staff, parents and community members. The plan includes a list of identified strengths, areas of needed improvement and key strategic actions for the 2024-25 school year.
