The Gaylord Texan Resort launched its annual Summerfest May 24. Inside and outside events and activities are planned for all ages to enjoy through Sept. 2, according to a news release from the resort.
Inside options include:
- Summer Cirque: Wild West with a Twist
- Horticulture tours
- Escape rooms
- Luminosity light show
- Animal encounters
- Adventure Kids scavenger hunt, live shows
- Junior chefs camp
- Wine, whiskey, and bourbon tasting events for ages 21 and up
- Mixology demonstration for ages 21 and up
Outside options include:
- Morning poolside yoga
- Summer Splash pool parties
Paradise Springs is an on-site 10-acre water park featuring a 600-foot-long lazy river, a multi-level Texas-themed play structure, four winding water slides, a zip line, and a 6,000-square-foot family lagoon.
