Trinity Metro TEXRail partners with Grapevine's annual Main Street Fest to offer discounts to festivalgoers

Organizers with the 38th annual Main Street Fest: A Craft Brew Experience in Grapevine have partnered with Trinity Metro TEXRail to provide a hassle-free way to get to the event this weekend.

The festival, with the theme “Where Fun Comes to Play,” will be May 20-22 along historic Main Street in Grapevine.

Attendees may park for free at any TEXRail station along the 27-mile commuter rail line that runs from downtown Fort Worth to the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Festivalgoers may then ride the train to the Grapevine/Main Street Station, which stops at the festival entrance, according to a news release. Riders who use the GoPass mobile app will receive a 50% discount on their roundtrip ticket plus $2 off admission to the festival with proof of ridership, the release stated.

Main Street Fest includes street performers, four live music stages, a craft brew garden, wine pavilion, carnival rides, a Kidz Zone and a street fair. Adult tickets to the festival are $9. Tickets for ages 6-12 and those age 62 and older are $5. Weekend passes are $20.

The Craft Brew Experience features more than 75 craft brews from 30 breweries. Tickets are separate from admission to the festival and include a souvenir Belgian-style tasting glass and eight 3-ounce tastings. Tasting cards are $16 if purchased before 5 p.m. May 20 or $20 at the festival.

The festival runs from 5-11 p.m. May 20, 11 a.m.-11 p.m. May 21 and 11 a.m.-6 p.m. May 22.
