The following signals are now in operation:
- FM 1460 and LaConterra Boulevard
- FM 1460 and Quail Valley Drive
- Wolf Ranch Parkway and Southwest Bypass
- Temporary signal at Wolf Ranch Parkway and Legacy Drive
- Temporary signal at Wolf Ranch Parkway and Rivery Driveway
- Temporary signal at Sam Houston Avenue and Rockride Lane
Temporary signals are typically installed as a placeholder until permanent signals are completed, or for safety during short-term disruptions.
The following signals are in the works:
- Temporary signal at Williams Drive and CR 245, expected by late 2025
- Ronald Reagan Boulevard and CR 245, expected by early 2026
- Ronald Reagan Boulevard and FM 3405, expected by mid-2027
- Northwest Boulevard and Lakeway Drive, expected by summer 2026
Additionally, the city conducted a traffic study for the Westinghouse Road and Maple Street intersection.
Some context
Georgetown continuously monitors traffic conditions and evaluates intersections on a series of factors to determine the need for a traffic signal, city officials said in an email.
