Legacy Outdoorsman hosts Smoke N’ Shoot Legacy Outdoorsman hosts a Smoke N’ Shoot to benefit Young Life and Young Lives. The event will have a barbecue cookoff and a shotgunners for clay shooting tournament. There will also be an all-you-can-eat barbecue dinner by Lucy's Fried Chicken and craft brews from Whitestone Brewery. Tickets for dinner and brews only are also available for purchase. 10 a.m. $20. 5th Annual Austin Duck Derby Event (Saturday) The Fifth Annual Austin Duck Derby race will begin at 11 a.m. when more than 17,000 eco-friendly rubber ducks will be launched in into Lady Bird Lake from the Ann. W. Richards Congress Avenue Bridge. Attendees can also enjoy food, music and family-friendly activities on the grassy area and parking lot between the lake and the Austin American-Statesman building. Proceeds will benefit the Austin Boys and Girls Clubs Foundation, a nonprofit that provides assistance and scholarships to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area. 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Free. Ann W.
