Texas Restaurant Group opened its Panera Bread  location at 1050 W. University Ave. on Aug. 21. The restaurant serves soups, salads, sandwiches and items from its bakery and features a drive-thru option. The restaurant is open Mon.-Sat. 6 a.m.-9 p.m. and Sun. 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Texas Restaurant Group CEO John Oudt, said his company is opening other Panera Bread locations throughout Central Texas, including a location at 18701 Limestone Commercial Drive in Stone Hill Town Center in Pflugerville.
