1. PickleTex
The facility has nine shaded outdoor pickleball courts, general manager Melissa Rubey said. The business offers court reservations, open play, clinics and coaching as well as a membership program.

2. Bad Habits Card Co.
Owned by Brodie Sachs, the business will be a hub for buying, selling and trading sports cards as well as cards for trading card games. The store will offer unopened card boxes and packs for all sports and a variety of games, ranging from Pokémon to Lorcana. Additionally, Sachs said the building will host play areas for various TCGs.

The hair salon specializes in customized hair color, blonding, balayage and dimensional brunettes. It also offers extensions, Brazilian blowouts, straightening systems and professional styling. Owned by Libby Bednarek, the salon has existing locations in Leander and Hutto.

The church launched a capital campaign July 8 for a permanent location for its Grace West congregation. The design for the building pairs a traditional sanctuary with modern classrooms, connected by open walkways. The first phase will include worship space, rooms for children’s and family ministry, and gathering areas. Founded in 1881, Grace Episcopal Church was the third church built in Georgetown.

6. Dollar Tree
Dollar Tree locations carry a selection of household supplies, decor, health and beauty products, and groceries. Construction on the 10,000-square-foot store in the Cedar Breaks West shopping center began in May and will last until February.

7. Cantera Montessori School
The early childhood education provider is celebrating its five-year anniversary. The school first opened its doors on Aug. 9, 2021, serving children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. Montessori is an approach to education that utilizes hands-on and self-paced learning.

Mark Ledyard reacquired the architectural and landscaping lighting business in early July. Ledyard previously stepped away from the company’s daily operations, but said in a press release returning to an ownership role felt like coming home.
