Brix and Ale collaborates with Barrow Brewing Company Brix and Ale Restaurant will host Barrow Brewing Company— the popular Salado Texas craft brewery—and Patrick Taylor, executive chef at Brix and Ale, for a five course pairing dinner. Barrow is Bell County's first microbrew and is known for its notable and diverse collection of beers. 6-8:30 p.m. $75 per person. Gardens at Verde Vista celebrate grand opening The Gardens at Verde Vista development is hosting a Taste of Georgetown event and grand opening celebration of its final phase and new amenity center Saturday and Sunday. Attendees will be treated to local cuisine, live music and fun giveaways, as well as a chance to enter a drawing for an “Experience Georgetown” grand prize package. Gardens at Verde Vista will also make a donation to a local charity, either The Locker or Emancipet, for every attendee who visits each Taste of Georgetown attraction. 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Free.
