Here are 10 transportation projects that are planned or under construction in Frisco, according to the city's capital improvement website. This list is not comprehensive.

1. Hillcrest Road updates
Project: Hillcrest Road will be updated from SH 121 to Main Street, though project details are not yet available.
Update: The project is in the planning phase.
2. Legacy Drive widening
Project: Legacy Drive will be widened from Lebanon Road to Stonebrook Parkway. As part of the project, Stonebrook Parkway will also be widened from Legacy Drive to 4th Army Drive. The roadways will also be reconstructed along with the widening.
Update: The project is in the design phase and is expected to start construction later this year.
3. Frisco Street roundabout additions
Project: Four roundabouts will be added along Frisco Street at Technology Drive, Sports Village Road, All Stars Avenue and Research Road. The intersections will be converted from intersections to multilane roundabouts.
Update: The project is in the design phase with bidding for construction expected early next year.
4. Legacy Drive updates
Project: Legacy Drive will be updated from Main Street to Panther Creek Parkway. The project details are not yet available.
Update: The project is in the design phase with construction expected to start in 2028.

5. Lebanon Road widening
Project: Lebanon Road is being widened from FM 423 to Todd Drive just west of Legacy Drive. It will be widened from a four-lane divided roadway to a six-lane divided roadway.
Update: The project is under construction and is expected to be completed next year.
6. King Road construction
Project: King Road is being updated to include a third and fourth lane along the roadway from Rose Lane to Witt Road.
Update: The project is under construction and is expected to be completed next year.
7. PGA Parkway construction
Project: The project will construct a six-lane divided roadway along PGA Parkway from Preston Road to Coit Road.
Update: The project is under construction and is expected to be completed later this year.
8. Ohio Drive roundabout addition
Project: A new roundabout is being added at the Ohio Drive and Gaylord Parkway intersection.
Update: The project started construction late last year and is expected to wrap early next year.
9. Hillcrest Road traffic signal addition
Project: A new traffic signal is being added to the Hillcrest Road and Eldorado Parkway intersection.
Update: The project is under construction and expected to wrap later this year.
10. Teel Parkway widening
Project: Teel Parkway is being widened from a two-lane roadway to a four-lane roadway. The project spans from Stafford Middle School to Olive Branch Road.
Update: The project is under construction and expected to be completed early next year.
