Organizers say more than 50 candidates have agreed to participate in the 2014 Frisco Candidate Forum, set for 6 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Collin College Conference Center, Building C, 9700 Wade Blvd.
The forum, sponsored by the Frisco Tea Party, Frisco Area Republicans and the Frisco Area Republican Women, is in advance of the March 4 Primary Election. Early voting begins Feb. 18.
The confirmed political attendees include 23 candidates for state-wide offices, 14 for Collin County offices and 17 for Denton County offices. Forum policy is not to release the names of confirmed participants, said Tom Fabry, a member of the forum organizing committee.
"This is the fourth forum put on by the three sponsoring civic organizations," Fabry said. "Over 300 people attended the last primary forum, and we expect a great turnout again this year."
