A portion of FM 423 that runs through Frisco will soon have a reduced speed limit.
Frisco City Council voted Oct. 15 to reduce the speed limit from 55 mph to 50 mph. The new speed limit affects the roadway beginning north of Stonebrook Parkway and extends south past Lebanon Road.
The 50 mph speed limit goes into effect once the new speed limit signs are installed, according to city documents.
