Frisco Family Services asking for community help

Frisco Family Services is asking for support for the community in advance of its 20th annual gala, which is April 26 at the Dr Pepper Arena.

The nonprofit organization, which is the community's only food pantry and helps Frisco families in need, is asking local residents to participate by:

Donating to the live and silent auctions—Donors will receive name recognition in the program and on the Frisco Family Services website.

Underwriting or putting together a basket—Themed examples include a movie basket, a spa basket or a book club basket.

Advertising in the gala program—Ad sizes from a quarter page ($100) to a full page ($300).

Purchasing a raffle ticket—Tickets are $50 each for a chance to win a $10,000 Visa gift card or an Alaskan cruise.

Attending the banquet—Tickets are $150 per person or $1,500 for a table of 10.

Volunteering—There are opportunities to volunteer on a gala committee or on the night of the event.
