During Tuesday’s meeting, Frisco City Council voted to table involuntarily annexing nearly 80 acres of land on the southwest corner of Custer Road and Westridge Boulevard. The proposed annexation has been tabled until the May 2 council meeting. The proposed annexation includes Russwood Acres, a small neighborhood off of Custer Road. The residents of this neighborhood received an agreement from the city last week, but many residents asked council to table the vote until they have had more time to consider the agreement. The proposed annexation also includes nearly five acres of land owned by affordable housing developer ADC Westridge. The development, Westridge Villas, is being constructed to have 132 multifamily units, 56 of which would be affordable housing.
