Four applicants have filed so far to run for the open seats on the Frisco ISD board of trustees in the May 9 election. Two three-year terms—Place 6, held by held by Chris Todd and Place 7, held by John Hoxie—are up for grabs, along with a one-year unexpired term on Place 3. John Classe, who was appointed in 2014 to fill the unexpired Place 3 term when Dan Mossakowski resigned, is now running for the three-year Place 6 position. Todd has not yet filed for re-election. Hoxie has filed for re-election in Place 7. He faces opposition from newcomer Rajesh Singh. Newcomer Chad Rudy has filed for the one-year Place 3 term. The last day to file for places 6 and 7 is 5 p.m. on Feb. 27. The last day to file for the unexpired Place 3 term is 5 p.m. on March 9. Applications may be picked up at the Frisco ISD Administration Building, 5515 Ohio Drive, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. The last day to register to vote is April 9. Early voting will take place April 27–May 2.
