For patients who have: abdominal pain, chest pain, shortness of breath, stroke symptoms, headaches, diabetic emergencies, infections, neck injuries, open fractures that could require surgery Staffing: physicians required to be on-site 24/7 Equipment: X-ray machines, ultrasound, CT scanners, laboratory services *Costs: $100-$500 average copay, plus facility fees and possible operating fees *Copay costs dependent on insurance
