Two mosquito pools tested positive for West Nile virus in Frisco.
The positive pools were located at Copper Point Lane in the Village Lake neighborhood and Gardenia Road in the Hollyhock neighborhood, according to a June 5 city news release.

City officials will not spray at this time and officials will increase surveillance and intensify larviciding in the affected neighborhoods, according to the release. Larviciding is the targeted application of insecticides or other repellents to standing water to kill mosquito larvae before they mature.
