Frisco ISD students on average scored higher on standardized tests than the state average, according to 2018-19 scores. FISD's average percentages were in the 80s and 90s for all tests, whereas the state's average percentages ranged from the 60s to the 90s. Students in grades 3-8 took the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness tests in reading, math, writing, science and social studies. High school students took end-of-course, or EOC, exams in algebra 1, biology, English 1, English 2 and U.S. history. Not all grades took the same tests. The Texas Education Agency compiles and publishes average passing scores. Here is a comparison of FISD's and the state's average scores:
