The new parking garage in the Rail District is now open.
The parking garage is part of a more than $80 million redevelopment project, which included reconstructing Main Street, Elm Street and developing the Fourth Street Plaza.
The details
Construction downtown started in July 2024 and is nearing completion later this year. The Fourth Street Plaza will be the last piece of the project, which is expected to be completed in August.

- December 2025: Main Street reopened to traffic

The parking garage brings with it five levels with 450 free parking spaces. It is located at the northeast corner of Elm and Third streets.

The $27 million project was funded by $20 million in voter-approved bonds in 2023, according to a Frisco news release. The Frisco Economic Development Corp. provided an additional $7 million infrastructure grant.
The garage is equipped with security cameras and emergency call stations, according to the release. Six retail tenant spaces are available on the ground level.
