A third Tom Thumb grocery store is now open in Frisco.
Store representatives, Frisco residents and developers celebrated the new store with a grand opening April 17.
“It’s an exciting day here in Frisco,” Mayor Jeff Cheney said.
Residents have been asking for a grocery store in the area for a long time, Cheney said.
“We are thrilled about the opening of longtime DFW favorite, Tom Thumb, the grocery anchor of the first shopping center on the famed Brinkmann Ranch,” Centergy President West Miller said in an April 15 release.
The 58,000-square-foot grocery store features an in-store Starbucks kiosk as well as a bakery and deli, meat, seafood, produce and floral departments, according to the release. The new location also has a drive-thru pharmacy, electric vehicle charging stations, grocery pickup and a fuel station.
