AlAlora Hospitality Group, a North Texas-based hospitality and restaurant development group, has become a co-owner in Frisco’s Rail Yard.
The real estate development group acquired an equity interest in the food and entertainment destination, joining Greg and Kristy McDonald as partners in the business, according to a Sept. 23 press release.

Alora Hospitality Group was founded in 2024 and seeks to create destinations that strengthen downtown centers, bring people together, and contribute to the long-term vitality of the communities it serves.
According to the release, the new ownership plans to honor the Frisco Rail Yard legacy while making capital improvements designed to elevate the guest experience, expand and diversify food options and create an environment that serves families and adults.

Jason Young, founder of Alora Hospitality Group, said the acquisition presents an opportunity “to build on what people already love while creating even greater community and connectivity throughout downtown Frisco.”
