Medical City Healthcare expands mental health care with new clinic in Argyle

Medical City Healthcare's new outpatient mental health therapy clinic is now open in Argyle, according to a news release.

The clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offers mental health assessments and group therapy sessions led by licensed therapists, per the news release.

The clinic’s therapists support individuals with:

• Depression and anxiety
• Work/life stress and transitions
• Grief and loss
• Mood disorders
• Suicidal thoughts
• Traumatic events
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder

This clinic is the sixth mental health clinic within the Medical City Healthcare system.

“Our goal is to meet people where they are in their mental health journey,” said Jim Russell, CEO of Medical City Mental Health & Wellness Center Alliance, in the news release. “This new clinic provides a vital link in our system of care, offering timely support close to home for those navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma and more.”
