Argyle residents needing to throw out an old television or other household items can do so at the town's bulk waste drop-off event from 8:30-11 a.m. Sept. 23 at Town Hall.

Town Hall officials will have dumpsters available to accept trash and debris, according to a news release. On-site document destruction will also be provided.
The details
People may drop off:
- Electronics: TVs, computers, stereos
- White goods: water heaters, washers, dryers, freezers with freon removed
- Tires: car or light truck tires, up to four
These items will not be accepted at the event:
- Commercial HHW or electronics
- Radioactive compounds
- Smoke detectors
- Ammunition
- Explosives
- Asbestos
- PCBs
- Pharmaceuticals or controlled substances
- Biological or infectious waste
- Fire extinguishers
- Leaking or unidentified containers
