Q&A: Meet the Republican candidates running for US House District 26 in the March primary

Why are you running for office?

I’m running for re-election to continue to fight alongside President Trump on behalf of North Texas.

What are the biggest challenges facing the district?

My constituents are focused on a secure border, stopping any effort to provide amnesty to illegal aliens and ensuring Sharia law has no place in Texas.

How do you plan to address these issues?

In Congress, I’ve introduced legislation to codify President Trump’s border policies and am fighting to end Sharia law in our county. Our Republican conference stopped the largest tax hike in history and will continue to pass legislation that prioritizes affordability for North Texas.

What would your top priorities be if you are elected?

Congress must continue to codify President Trump’s closed border immigration policies and create meaningful reforms that drive down the cost of living.

Why are you running for office?

After Charlie Kirk was assassinated, I was hoping we were going to learn the lesson I believe the Lord was intending: We are all Americans, countrymen and children under Christ. We unfortunately missed that opportunity to come together as a nation.

What are the biggest challenges facing the district?

Affordability–80% of your grocery aisle is owned by 1-4 conglomerates. We need to start there by investigating and enforcing antitrust laws aggressively.
