The Center of Leadership Research and Workforce Development has launched at Texas Woman’s University, according to a news release.

The new center is meant to bridge between academia and workforce needs and will be a part of the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership, per the release. It will teach leadership and workforce readiness skills such as critical thinking, coachability, effective communication, emotional intelligence, artificial intelligence literacy and ethical reasoning.
"This center represents a comprehensive approach to leadership development," said Shannon Mantaro, the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership's executive director and chief officer, in the release. "We're not just conducting cutting-edge research—we're ensuring that research directly informs how we prepare thousands of students with the leadership capabilities employers demand."
