Frozen treat chain Cold Stone Creamery is planning to open a new Flower Mound location, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.

Cold Stone sells a variety of ice cream, cakes, sorbets and drinks with customers able to create their own bowls with customized toppings. Work on the more than 3,000-square-foot Flower Mound location is set to begin Aug. 18 with an expected completion date on Jan. 15, per the filing.
