Slyde's Car Was in Lantana will receive $100,000 in renovations that are set to be complete by June 2025, according to a fining with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The renovations call for site improvements to 5,000 square feet of the car wash, which includes the demolition of existing canopy and dumpster/equipment enclosures. New vacuum canopies, as well as dumpster/equipment enclosures will be constructed, and the existing pergola at the business will be moved to the front of the property.
Owner Joe Fawaz said the renovations will allow the business to double the number of vacuums customers can use.
"It will be more convenient to the customers," he said.
