Mobility supply store Mobility Plus opened on Morriss Road in November in Flower Mound, owner Ashley Rowe said.
The business offers mobility devices like wheelchairs, canes and walkers, powered wheelchairs, mobility scooters and hospital beds. The company also provides home-installation for mobility equipment like grab bars and offers short and long-term rentals for mobility gear, Rowe said.
Mobility Plus will host a ribbon cutting on Feb. 10 in partnership with the Flower Mound Chamber of Commerce.

Renovations for a new Pilates studio are expected to begin next month, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Jetset Pilates offers classes that include a selection of Pilates-based workouts with strength and cardio elements, according to its website.
The renovations for the 1,780-square-foot studio have an estimated cost of $300,000, per the filing. Construction is expected to start Feb. 9 and be completed May 1.
A co-branded sweetFrog and Wetzel’s Pretzels store is planned in Flower Mound, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
Renovation work within a 1,857-square-foot space is expected to begin Feb. 16, per the filing. Construction within the space for the tenant will include work on the ceilings, flooring, plumbing and electrical system.
The estimated cost for the project is $450,000, and construction is expected to be completed April 6.
sweetFrog serves a selection of frozen yogurt flavors and toppings, according to its website. Wetzel’s Pretzels offers fresh-baked pretzels, pretzel bits and hot dogs, according to its website.
Relocations
The Parlor Doughnuts location in Flower Mound has closed after an ownership change.
The business announced its relocation to Dallas on a social media post Jan. 5.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the memories, the mornings and the doughnut runs you’ve shared with us here,” the business said in the post.
The Dallas location will open in spring 2026, according to a flyer at the Flower Mound location.
Parlor Doughnuts has made craft doughnuts and coffee since 2019 and is known for its layered doughnuts like the OG pepperoni and maple bacon doughnuts, according to its website.
There are three other locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, including one in Fort Worth, McKinney and Southlake. The business opened its Flower Mound location at 1450 Long Prairie Rd., Ste. 110 in 2023.
