Need something to do this weekend? Here is a list of five events happening in and around the Dallas-Fort Worth area from April 24-26.

1. Watercolors and wine
Join The Dime Store for a beginner-friendly evening of watercoloring painting. The event is open to all skill levels, and tickets will include supplies and two glasses of wine, sparkling cider or sparkling water.
2. Art in the SquareThe fine arts festival will feature live music, local art and a children’s area with face painting and activities.
3. Community Earth Fest The Community Unitarian Universalist Church will be hosting an Earth Day celebration at their community garden. The event will feature live music, games, face painting and a scavenger hunt where participants can explore the garden and plant seeds.
4. Allen 150 FestThe city of Allen will be celebrating the 150th anniversary of its first appearance on a map by hosting a festival downtown. The event will feature live music, food, local art, activities and more.
5. Colleyville Garden Club plant sale Visit the Colleyville Center to buy some plants, such as perennials, annuals and plants grown by garden club members. Proceeds from the plant sale will go toward projects promoting community beautification, youth gardening and club service at nursing homes.
