Vandoliers with Travis Roberts at Dan’s Silverleaf
Listen to the Vandoliers with Travis Roberts and enjoy the sounds of alternative country at Dan’s Silverleaf. This event is standing-room-only and for ages 21 and up.
Parents Night Out
Parents are invited to drop their kids off at the Denia Rec Center for an evening of fun that’s safe and supervised. There will be pizza, a live DJ, basketball games, a bounce house, gaga ball and a room for quieter activities and crafts.
Cocoa Crawl
Hosted by the Downtown Denton Foundation, this event allows participants to enjoy different hot cocoa recipes while visiting different businesses and restaurants. There will be special deals, family-friendly activities and live music, as well. Registration is required.
Stout and Shout
Beer fanatics are invited to enjoy a variety of stout beers at the Bearded Monk’s 10th annual Stout and Shout event. Eight rare stout options that have been collected for months are on the special menu, and live music will begin at 8 p.m.
Super Bowl Chili Cookoff
East Side Denton is inviting people to participate in its chili cookoff before the New England Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks for the championship game. Guests will vote on their favorite chili dishes before the big game begins. Those interested in participating can email their name and phone number to [email protected] for an entry
The JBD’s 2026 Mayoral Candidate Forum
Meet the candidates running for Denton mayor at The Village Church. The forum will offer a chance for residents to ask questions and meet each candidate before the May election.
